Needs to describe

Identify the purpose of the funding

01

Seasonal inventory

A seasonal range often arrives before its main selling period. Use past sell-through and supplier deadlines to define the order rather than relying only on the available discount.

02

Store improvements

Shelving, display units and lighting can be changed during quieter trading periods. Include installation and the cost of keeping merchandise secure while work takes place.

03

Point-of-sale equipment

Terminals, scanners and stock-control tools may involve setup and monthly service charges. Separate the initial hardware expense from ongoing processing or software costs.

Account for the interval before customers pay

A stocked shelf is not yet a customer receipt. Keep slow-moving stock, markdowns and normal operating bills visible when comparing a financing offer with the buying plan.

Information for business owners

Points to review before starting

What should I understand about provider referrals?

The referral process involves selling submitted application information to funding partners, with no more than five receiving one request. We receive partner payments whether the request is funded or not and impose no application charge on you.

How does a provider decide?

The requested amount expresses what the business wants to explore. It is not an approved amount, and a funding partner may offer different terms or no financing at all.

Why can request timelines differ?

Submission and receipt of funds are different stages. Any timeline must be confirmed with the funding provider after it has reviewed the request.

How do contact preferences affect the request?

Read the disclosures presented with the application rather than relying only on this page. Submission includes a separate contact-consent review and a mobile verification step.
